111SKIN Case Study

 

Introduction

111SKIN is a luxury skincare brand developed over the course of 20 years in collaboration with leading plastic surgeon Dr. Yannis Alexandrides, NASA space scientists, and experts in the process of reverse aging. Sold only by high-end retailers, 111SKIN’s proprietary NAC Y2 formula is designed to boost collagen production and encourage elasticity in skin, providing maximum protection from daily exposure to oxidative stress, sun, and pollution.


Execution

When 111SKIN recognized the need to stand out in the oversaturated skin care market, the brand came to me for help in elevating its luxury aesthetic both on the shelf and online. Since the look and feel of the brand’s packaging had to match the high-end price tag of its contents, I designed consistent branding, packaging, and web design that won 111SKIN a highly-publicised launch exclusive to leading department store Harrods.


Conclusion

Two years since 111SKIN’s launch, the brand’s unique product line continues to sit atop the store’s Top 10 beauty sellers. Due to its booming success in the United Kingdom, 111SKIN has now expanded into the American beauty market with product presence at Barney’s, Harvey Nicols, Bergdorf Goodman, and NET-A-PORTER.
